Morning update

CJ's temperature is back up, but the doctor says it's normal and expected-- it's a sign that the bacteria are dying, and his body is reacting to (as he puts it) "all the little corpses". He's still on track for coming home tomorrow.
He's complaining of "more calories plz" so I'm going to see what I can sneak in to him for snacks.

Dammit, I left my phone at home this morning, which means no texts or email checks until I run home to get it at some point. It's not that I don't like you. :)
(Wonder how they'd react if I was to order a pizza to be delivered to you there. ;) :) :)

I've seen some lab results, and I question the wisdom of pizza. If you do it, make it whole-wheat crust and light on the cheese and fatty meats, he's in Doctor's Hospital in Pontiac MI, and I had nothing to do with it.
He has a couple of breakfast-bar-type snack bars and a ziploc baggie of almonds, and he's been enlightened about his ability to make the staff bring him food-- they've got juices and applesauce at the nurse's station, and he can ask for a limited selection of food (mostly of the soup-and-sandwich variety) outside of mealtimes.
