And now I never want to come back down

So, as predicted, the '80s mix needs a DVD. But only by about 60MB. Of course, this is before some minor holes are filled in (Thompson Twins, Thomas Dolby, like that) and I'm not sure if converting some of the .wav files to .mp3 will make more space or less.
If I decide to go with the DVD plan, I may go back and reinstate some of the more painful cuts I had to make. For the nonce, I post the playlist here so that smart people may look it over and say either "That song is too early" or "That song is too late"--but in advance I warn you that, for me, the eighties started in '77 or '78 (around the time that the Ramones and the Clash started putting out albums) and had ended well before 1989.
(Well, I was going to post the playlist until I saw the format iTunes puts it in. So can anybody tell me how to export a playlist in iTunes without including all sixty-three informational fields? All I want is artist, track name and maybe album.)

1) What format do you want to export to?
2) Using Mac or PC?

I'm using a PC, and I'd figured on it ending up a plain text file. Then I can cut and paste, or HTMLize it, or whatever needs to be done.

This app might work for you. It allegedly lets you export your playlists as HTML and presumably you can set what data you want sent.

Bah. It won't let me run the executable--it's got some sort of 'failure to find' error. But thank you, regardless!

What program do you use to convert wma to mp3? I have BonkEnc which does great for m4as to mps3, but can't do a thing with wma.

I use a shareware called Audacity (I expect you can find it at audacity.com) for conversions, at least for .wav and .ogg, but I'm not positive it can do .wma. It is, in fact, the only software I own that I can listen to .ogg on. And I quite like it, as it also allows me to do crude editing, like trimming the eight minutes of silence between the last track of an album and the 'hidden bonus track', or creating things like the 'Heckuva Job' remix of 'When the Levee Breaks'.

Okay, the free download of Audacity doesn't recognize wma but the 'deluxe' might.
