Purge Day One: Books
The purging has begun. I have decided that in these times of the Gutenberg Foundation and lending libraries, I really have no need to keep the huge number of books I currently have in my library. So I went through and pulled out all the books that, while I enjoyed, I am unlikely to read again. Also those books that have been on my 'to-read' shelf with no sign of moving off.
I will probably take them to Book Buyers or Friends of the Library next Saturday, but if people want to rummage through them first then that would be great. There are far too many of them for me to make a list of 'what I got' so you're on your own there.

I don't suppose you'd have any of the Dresden Files, books three and up? And if you did, could I convince you to mail them my way if I bat my eyes and flip my hair and maybe promise something more tangible in return? ;)

I will expect to see some lash batting and hair flipping, though. (:

actually hired competent staffchanged their buying practices in the years since I worked there, you will get hosed if you attempt to sell books to them. Unless the point is to get some cash, regardless of how little, I would advise you to donate your books to the Friends of the Library.no subject
If I do get a little money on the side, then the extra trip may not be such a bad thing. However, advice is noted.
