Purge Day One: Books
Jan. 19th, 2008 03:40 pmThe purging has begun. I have decided that in these times of the Gutenberg Foundation and lending libraries, I really have no need to keep the huge number of books I currently have in my library. So I went through and pulled out all the books that, while I enjoyed, I am unlikely to read again. Also those books that have been on my 'to-read' shelf with no sign of moving off.
I will probably take them to Book Buyers or Friends of the Library next Saturday, but if people want to rummage through them first then that would be great. There are far too many of them for me to make a list of 'what I got' so you're on your own there.
To follow:
CDs
DVDs
VHS tapes

Unless the point is to get some cash, regardless of how little, I would advise you to donate your books to the Friends of the Library.no subject
