Hurrah for having nothing worth stealing.

On my way home from Aelf's evening social, I lost my bike satchel. I usually have the pair of them draped over the fender and even though they're light they keep each other in line.
Five miles later, when I got home, I noticed it was missing. I then began the tortuous retracing, which was tricky given that I'd taken the car (choosing speed over thoroughness) and was therefore driving down the opposite side of the road at first. I was also occasionally getting out and hiking, where I'd taken the bike off street.
(Steven's Creek bike trail does not have a passing lane even for something as small as the Del Sol.)
I found it back on El Camino, at a bus shelter. The contents were strewn around, but I don't think anything was missing. Even my phone is apparently too crapulous to bother stealing.

Ack! I should start carrying my bike rack in my trunk again, because I was wishing I could give you a lift home last night, but the bike made it troublesome.

I'm glad you found everything, even if I wish you hadn't had the hassle. -_-

The biking was good for me, and it was late enough that traffic wasn't bad. (In fact, if I didn't have to run errands for Tersa I would have taken the bike this morning.)
I just need to remember to take both bags to prevent that sort of thing.

Although I would have enjoyed the time spent with you. *hugs*
