It's almost Friday o'clock (six more hours).
I have exciting plans this weekend.
It's not last weekend. (Thanks to those of you who sat through that.)
Iowa.
It's cooling down a little, so it's comfortable to sit in the car again.
Girls are not laughing directly into my face when I ask them out.
I think I may get into a writing mood. And at a time when I can write.
Y'all.

I have socks that are still warm from the dryer and a very sweet, devoted dog who is laying his head on my lap just so he can get pettings. He rubbed up against the rosemary hedge while he was out so he smells delicious.

I made bread so I have warm bread and a little bit of butter, and I grabbed some lemons from our tree to make lemonade.

And Sunday is my anniversary and I get to see the man I love every day.

We have a lovely houseguest who arrived yesterday.
So I made chicken and dumplings for dinner and it was delicious.
And we had peach kuchen for dessert with tea.
And stayed up too late talking.
But Chris took today off, so we could sleep in.
Our houseguest was also a fine excuse to make breakfast with Dittmer's bacon,
and apple spice muffins
and fresh mangoes and strawberries.
My child is adorable like a kitten. He even plays with yarn.

www.everydayminerals.com has a free sample pack and you get to try 3 foundations (to help find your correct shade), 1 blush, and 1 concealer for free. I liked the product, the company's service, and their prices so much that I ended up buying full-sized products from them. There are two more places that offer free samples (including eye colors, which are was more fun to play with) and the names are escaping me at the moment, but I'll revisit the thread later this weekend and let you know what they are.
Also, EDM's free samples are unlimited. Have at, and have fun. =)

I am older mother, but I sell avon and they have a good line of mineral make up that is really reasonable in price. It is a great way for a mom to look good in just a few minutes. And as I remember when you happen to go by a mirror it really feels good to see someone looking back at you who took the time for herself.

Thank you. Unfortunately, my son is highly sensitive to soy (and it's beginning to look like I am, too) and the ingredients list for the Avon "mineral makeup" contains soy derived ingredients. If he hugs me while I'm wearing it, he'll break out like a teen on prom night. That's one of the reasons I'm looking for a "pure" mineral makeup.

I am an older mother and sell avon, they have a line of mineral makeup that is very reasonable. I find them very quick to use and make me feel better about faceing the world another day. Good luck

As I watch your father having more problems I look out my window and see the spring flowers, the birds. I watch the silly cats enjoying the sun and freedom of the run and know that the next day may not be better ( but different) but with help of friends and family I can manage the changes that come into my life. When I come home from being away Thumpy and Ricca greet me with joy and love that only an animal can give you and I realize that I am one of the lucky ones. No I don't always feel that way, when I wake in the night and realize what life has in store for me I have a tendence to panic but I repeat tomorrow it will all look different. I miss your humor and hearing your voice so call when you are ready. With much love Mom
