Dancin' on the killing floor

All of today's energy went to resting up for tonight--Amanda and I went to the Fisher Theater to see a dance performance called Burn the Floor. The Fisher is a lovely building with arches and mosaics and lots of brass and pretty triple-layer fluted wall sconces that are not Art Deco but we want to call them that. (And then, once in a while, this weird seventies style which was jarring.)
And the show was impressive and fun. Barring one number, the choreography was very well done. The dancers were enjoying themselves, or at least convincingly faked it.
And now I'm going to bed.
