Getting Up Early Report: Day One

Seven o'clock in the morning, and it's a humid eighty degrees. They call for thunderstorms in the evening to knock it down a little, at least.

I've lost my card case. Probably sometime during my sojourn West. If you happen to spot it, tell it to get itself home.

Right after you left, the temperature broke and it's been in the 60's and low 70's during the day and 50's at night.

At least you may have thunderstorms. It was 88 degrees at midnight in KC on Saturday/Sunday. I suspect it will remain much the same this week. I'm going out in about 20 minutes and still expect that I will roast. :(
