cyranoI have a small library of music I consider 'steampunk'. Beats Antique and the Flash Girls, for the sound and musicality--Flash Girls very much evokes an untidy Victorian era, and Beats Antique combines machine sounds with futuristic beats.
This weekend I realized that Thomas Dolby's Golden Age of Wireless definitely belongs there, with themes of humanity being buried behind walls of machines, alienation... all those classical steampunky ideas.
