I'm spending some time this week putting together a Steampunk themed playlist, a command performance from Herself. If you are familiar with my theories on the genre then I welcome your suggestions for contributions. Humanity vs. Technology, Alienation, Class Tension, good chewy meaty stuff like that. The sound of the machine. I'm expecting some Clash, some Thomas Dolby, Dresden Dolls... And probably lots of stuff I didn't expect.

Daft Punk, or Kraftwerk, Einsturzende Neubaten, all have potential to be good, I think, if I could find something that wasn't too firmly tied into the modern age. I'm even considering "Mister Roboto".
