We're gonna have a good time

cyranoSo. birthday and stuff.
1) The actual weekend of my birthday. The housemate will be out of town most of it, and it's 4 July weekend and stuff, so I'm thinking a low key gathering of folks who want to get together and watch videos and give me prezzies and bring food and soda and watch videos and talk and hang out and do stuff kind of like a party. Tentatively planned for Saturday 5 July any time after about two-ish until people get thrown out around midnight so I can go to bed before work.
2) The week after. Maybe a viewing of LOeG because it will be opening weekend and I'm completely insane. Tersa has suggested Friday night, 11 June, and I would want to have dinner first, somewhere near the cinema to avoid the 'waiting outside for the last stragglers arrive until about half an hour after the movie starts' phenomenon. Perhaps Sushi Lovers or something.
3) What to get me? My Amazon wish list is pages and pages long, if you want quick ideas. However, I'd like hugs and backrubs and petting and skritching and attention and snuggling. Also sex with a hottie in a schoolgirl uniform would not be seen as amiss. So long as said hottie also gave me hugs.
In other news, the fourth disc that mysteriously refused to burn mysteriously decided to burn this evening. All that's left now is artwork and liner notes.
My foot continues to occasionally hurt. Swelling, no discoloration, and definite pain.
On Tuesday night I did a NERO NPC thing, and I got yummy wonderful soup and then I got to play Creger, the naughty leprechaun. I got to drink, tease cute boys, make inappropriate comments, get cute boys drunk, and ogle the hostess.

Date: 2003-06-27 12:02 pm (UTC)If it actually opens on July 11th. My cousin works for a post-production company that is doing some of the effects for this film. They missed their deadline for completion last week. It isn't even together enough to receive an MPAA rating yet.
