This morning I heard Warren Zevon finally lost the battle with cancer. And I cried a lot. I'm tired of my heroes dying.
Today I got mail from Amnesty International, the American Civil Liberties Union and the Howard Dean Campaign. All of whom probably deserve money from me.
Today was also not 'National Yell at Me Day' at work, which means it was better than yesterday.
I want to dance. I want to sing. I want to DJ. I want to do theater. I want to finish ripping my CD collection. I want to read the vast collection of books and see the long list of movies that I haven't been exposed to yet.
I want to feel like I have the energy to do any of those things while working full time. Maybe being on the drugs and being pissed off all the time was better. I wish my doctor would call me back so we can discuss side effects and medication.

In unrelated news. Club Slick and Wicked City are doing a 'Back to School' gig at the end of this month.
I have a plaid skirt and a white blouse. I have no shoes, however. Hrmmmmm.

Check at the import stores. They normally carry those canvas flat MaryJanes with the strap across the top of the foot and the buckle on the side for 5-8 bucks, and they come in unisex sizes (just wear the socks you'll be wearing with your outfit to make sure you get the right size.
