cyranoHellboy topped the box office this week, which surprises and pleases me. The movie was fun--not great but fun. I had my issues, which essentially boil down to "Lame ending. Worst trained secret government organization ever. Weird pyrokinesis stuff."
The Passion of the Christ stays in the top ten. I am disturbed that his Passion was not his love for his Father, or the things he said, but instead was the things that other people did to him.
Other things I find disturbing: companies that raise their stock prices by firing people. Thanks, Cigna.
Lovely weekend birthday party for Mel up in the city; gracious hosts with a charming home, good conversation with new people and people I don't see enough of.
The city of Falujah has been locked down after the brutal attacks on foreign contractors this weekend.
Which, of course, means that FalujahPalooza has been cancelled.
