So it's already June, and I haven't worked since January. 9thmoon said that journal entries were one of the first things to suffer. I can see that. Who has any interest in re-hashing recent failures, or at best re-hashing a lack of progress?
When cleaning your room takes a good chunk of the day and most of your energy, thinking about writing (here or on any of my fiction projects) seems frivolous and unappetising.
Since I started looking at retail, I've at least gotten a couple of calls. Frye's and WhereHouse had positions I might have fit.
And I'm surrounded by helpful lovely people. In case I haven't mentioned it, I'd probably be in Idaho sorting potatoes and brushing up on my Spanish (assuming I survived that long) if it weren't for them. Mad Phat Props out to my homies, nowhamsayn?
I want to see Rent for my birthday. I sent out email to a handful of folks last week announcing my plans, and that I would be buying tickets for only the people who had put money in my hands by the fifth. I don't have any money /yet/ but people are expressing interest. It remains to see whether this year will be a birthday party year or not.

Oh, and in case the RIAA ever gets its head out of its ass and actually cares to look for evidence that LaunchCast is devastating its sales:

Every single new CD I bought in the past year was because I heard a cut on LaunchCast and said 'Damn! I've gotta get me this!'
I don't know /where/ else I would have heard Apocalyptica, the four cello students who do Metallica covers....
