Just finished my first day at Debbi Lynn's. She wants me to work 9-5 M-F and quite possibly extra hours through the month. Lots of wacky folks of good temperment, and lots to learn. Throw him in and see how he swims. Today my cheque for the Sunday art show came in too. Things more or less stay busy, which is good because it keeps me from getting bored.
The CD part of my stereo appears to have broken between Wednesday morning and this morning because when the alarm clicked on, the CD wouldn't play. Nor could I eject any CDs or get any of them to play. No idea what's wrong yet. And my birth certificate (for I9 stuff) wasn't where I thought I left it, but I did find it before I went off to miss my connecting bus and showed up 20 minutes late. And this, Megs reminds me, is why I need to get a license.
I didn't kill her because she just found me a job.
Plus it's her birthday today. Happy MegsDay! And there will be lambs and tea tomorrow. Yum.

Grumble. Trying to sleep. Can't.
So I'll mention that Wednesday turned out to be an Alchema game with many more players than I expected and who seemed to be having fun. Dave and Stuart and Megs and Tony and Laura, with lots of new characters being introduced for this second adventure. Things took longer than I expected (yes I know they always do) and we'd gotten about to the point in my plot notes where I'd indicated 'Wackiness Ensues' (yes it actually said that in my notes) when suddenly it was eleven and I had to send Tony to bed. So we've got that pesky set up stuff out of the way and can get right to the Wackiness next Wednesday if I'm not working.
