It's way too late. But I got to see South Park's rich people episode, which made me laugh, and Memento (finally) which made me disturbed. Both very good, in their own special way. Did a little cleaning, which is not bad considering that I was going to just take a nap after the mighty shopping expedition.
And then I made some sort of Italian chicken dish which turned out really quite yummy, and Mei came over to test it for me and to use our net connexion. Lots of folks I know who are suddenly without service, and many of whom were not expecting to be affected (effected?) by the @Home foofaraw.
I have lots of work that I need to do before Wednesday's game, and I at least know what it is but I'm not feeling very inspired to do it. It's grunt work, research, leg work, paperwork. And I can't think of it in a way that makes it fun.

Pay ye all heed to the words of John Ashcroft, the voice of patriotism, who has declared today that any of us who do not with full heart and frothing mouth support whatever measures, regardless of relevance or draconian intent, that the government claims will help us fight terrorism, then we are just as evil as the people who kill babies and eat kittens.
Thank you, Mei, for adding Boondocks to my comic list because it at least blunts the edge on my cynical and angry wariness of a government that is protecting me from danger.
Saw Harry Potter a second time (Second time observances: Columbus is good with shiny things and pretty pictures but cannot do subtle emotions and interpersonal relationships if you threatened to carve off bits of him with a jigsaw. Alan Rickman's hair makes him look like Michael Jackson. Emma Watson is a very pretty girl. There are a lot more 'why did somebody do (x)?' questions this time through. Maybe re-reading the book will answer some of them.) and finally got into the 'c's on the CD ripping project.
No gaming stuff done yet. Yay me.
