It's hard to believe that it was this morning that I cajoled Cindy into giving me a ride to Fremont for the Trimerica financial orientation thingie. It feels like days and days ago. I still don't know whether I'm interested in pursuing this--they haven't chased me off but they haven't sold me either. There's a lot of talk about how easy it is to make a lot of money, but not a lot about what I'd actually be doing. If they weren't affiliated with CitiGroup, which has a pretty reliable name, I'd be far more skittish about this.
Came home and cleared some of my telecrap off Tersa's TiVo, did my second Santa gig (Worked late--I strongly suspect I'll be compensated, but I bet I'd live if I didn't. The kids were pretty keen at this party, and folks were friendly. I highly recommend serving alcohol at Christmas parties.) and then came home again. Fussed with the cat, made soup, and ached.
It's not that cold, but my joints certainly complain like it's winter time.
And then I opened all the prezzies from my mom because she said I could. And mom? The housemate says thank you for the nice smelling stuff. And the kitten says thank you for the fleece blanket.
