Quick post regarding breaking news:
Interview with SkyWest this morning. Made it out to the building in comfortable time, but it involved a $10 taxi ride. Ouch.
Nancy was a very nice lady, and she talked to me for about half an hour. She told me that JJ had referred me, and she had great faith in her judgement. (It is totally not about what you know. This is the lesson for today, children.) The main sticking point is that both the ramp position and the customer service position require a CDL; CID won't cut it. (If I were not in the CID, something else I'd like to be...) However, she gave me her number and told me that I should get my license and call her to tell her since currently there are no positions but when one opens up she plans to put me in it.
I think I'm close to being ready for a driving test. I hope I'm not deluding myself.
Anyway. There was a nice 'employees shuttle' that had a stop a few blocks from the building that I got to take back to the airport where I could catch another shuttle to the train to my bike to Avalon where I relayed the good news.
More details when I'm not PACKING LIKE A CHICKEN WITH ITS HEAD CUT OFF.
Ba-cock!
