Two years ago, Ofra Haza died of complications arising from AIDS. 'Massive internal organ failure,' said reports. Her condition was more serious than neccessary because once she admitted she had the disease, she went to lengths to keep it secret. It is suspected that, given proper care and treatment, she would be alive today.

Today I got home before dark, and it was a surprisingly pleasant experience. Score one point for daylight savings.

Over the past week huge piles of appliances, office furniture, yard debris, and general assorted refuse has been building up on the sides of my street. Today they started getting cleared away. I'm really glad, as it was starting to feel like a Mad Max movie.

Meredith Hagedorn is apparently a local actor who produces plays she wants to be in so she doesn't have to wait for other people to do them. Over the next couple of weeks, there are two David Ives short play performances---All In the Timing and Time Flies--being put on in South Bay. I think that people (especially Cari who infected me with Ives in the first place with a cold performance of All In the Timing) should descend upon these and view them thoroughly.
AItT is performed Wed-Sun through the 20th of April at 510 S. First Street in San Jose.
TF is performed Thurs-Sun through the 21st of April at Studio Theater, Foothill College.
