May. 27th, 2002 12:22 pmOur laundry person at work was out all last week. So Friday I said 'holy crap there's dirty laundry everywhere' and ran a couple of loads and hung them out to dry. And that's where they stayed, until Saturday morning when we got to work and discovered that drunken patrons of the titty bar next door had walked off with a couple of civil war jackets, and we'd lost about $300 worth of costumes.
Friday night I rolled my fourth '1' of the evening and my D+D character got turned into ice. So he's sort of boring to play until we can find somebody who knows the 'ice to flesh' spell.
This is the kind of thing that happens when you start your weekend a day late. So I cut out of work early on Saturday (we were two or three employees busy, but certainly not five employees) to go home and stress there. Where Mei had made a yummy roast, which made the whole house smell like meat simmering in vegetables, and was really relaxing.
Sunday I was supposed to have gaming, which precluded me from going to the housewarming or CJ's 21st birthday thing. However, I had failed to read that it was postponed again, and so I hopped on the light rail and there was hanging out with the NERO geeks with almost no game geeking.
Today is BBQing, and tomorrow is, I think, a trip to the bookstore to buy presents for people who deserve them with my gift certificate. After going to work and having Debbie tell me I'm not fired.
Oh yeah, and we need to take Angie to see the new version of Earnest because it has pretty boys in it.
