quintessence of dust

I noticed I haven't posted in a while. Mallen is here, as part of his whirlwind west coast tour. Next weekend I'm going to LA (would not mind a ride to the airport Saturday morning or a ride home Tuesday afternoon). I need to go to the DMV to get more tags for my car, because I got pulled over and the officer said 'If you get this fixed you won't get a ticket.' I was going to go today but stuff last night ran late so I got up late and then my lunch date fell through and so I ended up not doing anything and so it's almost two and I'm in the mood for something breakfast-like. Um. Work continues to be much like work. No word yet on the few job leads I've actually checked out. No immediate sources of extra cash yet. I can't think of anything immediately relevant that's happened in the past two weeks that I haven't just mentioned.
