cyrano: (leap)
Up way too late (only three hours! not so late!) waiting for my work clothes to finish in the dryer.
Got lots of stuff done--13 CDs ripped, and liner notes made which prompted me to finally decide to shell out money for a real paper cropping tool, shopped for a new stereo (the guy at the store remembered me), oil changed in the car, and drove up to the City for a screening of Vanity Fair.
Which was very enjoyable. I paid $13 to see it (all in parking fees) which was more than I'd like to pay in the future, but I got to see Aberrant Virtue and her boy, the Questioner, and third cute girl who may or may not have an LJ.
And I'd just like to channel Jon Stewart when I say that John Rhys Meyers was so hhhhhhhhhot in this movie. It's a shame he's only in the first half. But. Wow. And there was a gorgeous coat. And the dialogue was wonderful. And AV says the movie is very faithful to the book, which kind of surprised me because the belly dancing scene seemed... very unlikely to me. And I enjoyed the movie. And now I will enjoy bed.
