Voldemort can't stop the rock!
Aug. 24th, 2005 12:42 amOh and while I'm on the crackmonkey LJ posting scheme....
I got home today and decided to poke Rhapsody to see if they had ever heard of Godspeed, You Black Emperor or A Silver Mount Zion.
Brief aside:when I went to visit my friend l2g in Seattle, he showed me Rhapsody, a cool music library which has like a gajillion songs in it and for some $25 a month you can listen to them all you want and buy/download as many as you like for some pittance extra. I salivated, and pimped it to my friends, but I didn't get it for myself because I was pretty sure I wouldn't use it $25 worth every month.
So. Tonight, wired and with short attention span at hand, I went to the website and discovered that they now have a non-premium (FREE) version that gives you access to 25 of the radio stations (eh--but they do have a baroque station and a classic lounge station) and twenty five free plays from the library every month Woo Hoo! And I am now all Rhapsodized, and they didn't have either of those bands which is not a big surprise but still a gajillion songs and I can play one a day for free!
Drum phonics monkey, drum!
