Madness is all in the mind

Firmly into the M's now on the CD ripping project. Past the Macs even.
About a week before I leave town again--stopping by Seattle on the way to visit the parents.
Seattle folks (l2g, wilson, rivendellrose, kirbyk, whoever else I've forgotten) who have free time Sunday after next and feel like doing something social, let me know. I'm trying to avoid renting a car and will be kindly requesting either rides or personal advice on the public transport, and possibly crash space Sunday night. Flying out of SEA-TAC on Monday. Um. Can't think of anything else to say at the moment.

And oh yeah. While I was visiting WindRose I got two new LJ icons in my head.
Ironically, given the way I use icons, I don't think I'll ever use them, but somebody else might so I'm posting them here.

This one was inspired by a recent episode of 'House MD'.


This one was inspired by the Housemate's hockey jargon, specifically the phrase "Nabi says nyet." This phrase is used whenever a promising looking shot on goal is rejected by Nabokov, the Soviet Stonewall in the goalie position. Vesa Toskala is a Finn. I have no idea what 'no' is in Finnish.
