I felt a little tired so I watched Miami Vice

So I bought the Dinosaurs DVD--the first two season, and when the third season comes out I'll pay whatever they ask for that too--and so anybody who got it for me for my birthday: it serves you right for not giving it to me immediately. As all presents for me should be! Immediate gratification for the coyote! Pay attention to me! Love me! Go go go! God damnit monkeys, don't make me bring the beat down!



Ahem. Sorry. Anyway, I sort of promised to stop buying stuff for myself for a few months but this is different, and I'm not going to wait for two months before I can watch it. Plus it's my housemate's fault--she badgered me into it.

I finished .two. .new. .mix. .discs. this weekend. No write up on the web page yet, but the liner art is there in the hotlinks. There are two more discs I'm on deadline for; I'm hoping I can polish them off in time.

Lots of exciting muscle and joint pain. Still not King.

She's makin' movies on location

The third mix disc is progressing satisfactorily. I have a sufficient number of tracks, and I have art. I need to find an order for the tracks, then write the playlist and print and cut. I should be able to have this done by MDay weekend.
Also, this is the first time I've bought music online and the first time I've included one of my own edits in a playlist. (La Vie Boheme from Rent, with extraneous bits trimmed out.) So lots of exciting groundbreaking activity. I expect a write up for Caliente and a big reveal for this disc in the next few days.
Plus, last night I finished the jumble, the cryptograph and the two crosswords puzzles from the newspaper without having to look up the solution at all. v. smug. Today, not as good--I had to check once for each crossword puzzle. (Roaring Camp chronicler Bret, and From the beginning (lat).)
