'Til selfish gain no longer stain the banner of the free

I realize that many of you have been released from your employer-related obligations due to some sort of holiday. Keep in mind that this does not release you from your obligations to *me*. I still need to be entertained while at work today, whether it be comments, memes, provocative photos of yourself, discussions of plans to celebrate and honor my own natal holiday and honor me, amusing or inspiring observational essays, whatever it may be.
And if you feel despairing or brought low by ennui, just remember that it's only three days to 'Ask Me A Question' day!

Hrmmm. Mercury in retrograde for my birthday, my trip to Florida... pretty much the entire month.
