cyrano: (leapsheep)
Tomorrow morning I leave the house, work a full day and then catch the red-eye to Dulles. Since I haven't started packing, tonight would be an excellent time to do so. Or to get some rest so that I can be up early tomorrow and pack then. And so, like the sage and experienced (rake, dandy, cynic, DJ, Sex Machine) that I am, I am
HOLY CRAP WATCHING THE PILOT EPISODE OF MIKE MIGNOLA'S AMAZING SCREW ON HEAD!!!!!
Go go go! Go to http://www.scifi.com/amazingscrewonhead/ because it's full of the crack and DHP and HOLY CRAP IT'S AMAZING SCREW ON HEAD!!!!!!
I now have to retrieve my Hellboy comics from Megan or whoever they are loaned to and re-read ASH. !!!! This episode is *so* quotable!
"Pardon me if I say Poppycock." "Then say it." "Poppycock."
"If by 'candy' you mean 'ancient forbidden evil' then yes, I told you not to put it in your mouth."
"I think your forbidden evil is fresh as a daisy."

But the other three, to whom the article refers as a 'galoot', a 'dork' and a 'knockabout funnyman', do not strike me as strong entries in the Geek category. This, of course, is secondary to the idea that four celebrity data points construe a sweeping new worldwide trend.
Now, if Salma Hayek starts dating Stephen Hawking, or Alison Hannigan were to start dating me....
