cyrano: (Sudden but Inevitable)
God damn them all to hell, anyway.
They've re-released all the Pogues albums over the past few years. And every single one has a good half dozen bonus tracks. This, combined with the Cure rereleases (usually with an entire bonus disc) should keep my discretionary spending occupied for a while.
And oh. I bought Star Wars and Empire, the megasuperreremixed 2006 version, because they come with the theatrical release. I should get them in the post this week.

Okay, I made the mistake of going to scifi.com because I was interested in the "Webisodes" of Battlestar Galactica. But I don't particularly want to start with number three.
Are those of us arriving late being punished? Have they removed the first two from the site so we pay the price for not being on schedule? Because no matter what link I click, I either get the 'Previously, on Battlestar' video or 'Wepisode Three'. And it's beginning to piss me off.
Admittedly, the fact that I have to go to work and various technological items in my house are pissing me off probably play into it.

EDIT:
Screw it. They jump five years at the very end of the episode, then want to jump another half year at the beginning of the next? I'll catch up eventually. If I want interstitial exposition then I'll re-read "Those Left Behind".

Cancer: Your lover isn't thinking things through. When asked if you have a problem with an ex joining you for dinner, do yourself a favor and say yes. Christopher Renstrom

Now. Aside from the fact that I'm having dinner inside a federally restricted space, and will not likely be partaking with anybody's ex, I find it hard to believe that approximately eight percent of the world's population will today be dining with a lover's ex.
