Technical Difficulties
Apr. 21st, 2007 11:22 amI was prepared to write up a post raving about Firefox 2.0 and plugins like All-Peers.
However. I can't run Firefox to do so. I click on one of the three options I have to start the program, and the little window says "We had a traumatic shutdown. Do you want to restore or start all over?" Regardless of which option I choose, the same result--nothing. A line labelled 'Firefox' appears in the System Manager's process screen, so technically not 'nothing', but pretty close. Two reboots later, same results. There's this game I like to play that frequently chokes and falls over and creates browser freeze ups, and I'm worried that this new version has reacted fatally with it.
So. It looks like I'm going to try and hunt down an old version and see if I can reinstall. q:
