Gold watch, stick pin

So the Vigilante Pants came on Tuesday from The Gentleman's Emporium. And despite my ordering from the chart as they instructed (the trousers are higher waisted and they recommended ordering a size up from your usual waist size) I was swimming in them. The waist line was, in fact, a sternum line. I called them this morning before sending them back, to make sure they wouldn't shrink *a whole lot* in the wash and to find out if I could do the exchange in time for the Pirate Faire on the fifteenth. And Chris and Noel at the warehouse said come on down and we'll get you into something that fits.
Chris also showed me around some of the more steampunk-oriented stuff they were getting ready to put on the website (starting next week in fact)--boots, gloves, flight cap, possibly a leather workman's apron... all sorts of stuff. Very friendly bunch! So I now have my two-sizes smaller trousers thanks to the fine fellows at the Gentleman's Emporium. Highly recommended!
