Never ending story

And for whomever I was discussed fairy tales with earlier this month (Hell, for everybody who hasn't yet read it):
The Princess Who Kicked Butt, by Will Shetterly, who is nominated for this year's World Fantasy Awards (category: Best Novel) for his "Gospel of the Knife".

Damn it.
I was feeling very clever--I'd decided that I was going to take part in NNWM, and I had nailed down my story concept two months in advance.
So today when I was poking through notes, I came across the basic platform for the Weird West story I had come up with. (It has CROWS!)
And now I'm wibbling.
