What's going on?

So this week John McCain made the staggering revelation that it was not in fact the executive branch punching holes in the Constitution, nor the legislative branch's staggering failure to act on any of the pressing crises currently raging, nor those damn kids who won't stay off his lawn--it was, in fact, ACORN who is now on the verge of maybe perpetrating one of the greatest frauds in voter history in this country, maybe destroying the fabric of democracy.

I want *your* take for this weeks IFIAYAQD!
What is it that's destroying the very fabric of democracy that, if unchecked, could leave us in a democracy shortage by the end of the month and potentially forced to resort to draconian plutocracy by year's end if not stopped?
