Dec. 20th, 2008 12:11 pmMany years ago, back in my days in the kingdom of An Tir, I attended a bardic competition at which an artist named Kay Hilton judged and also graced us with a performance (non-competition). I was quite taken, and bought her cassette, and played the crap out of it.
I am reminded of it now, because one of the things about that album I remember most clearly is a spirited rendition of "The Holly and the Ivy", and having just heard a more churchified version, I wanted to listen to hers. However, I found her website and there's no information about purchasing. It's possible she doesn't do that stuff any more. But I'm going to write her and ask, and in the meantime I thought I'd poke the esoteric collection on my FList and see if maybe somebody out there has her whole collection.
