Good times, Bad times
Feb. 28th, 2009 12:48 pmWhile she was visiting, Amanda_Lodden was kind enough to help me do a computer migration that I've been wanting to finish for some time. (Well. 'Help' in that she asked me where she might find a screwdriver, and then I told her, and then she finished.)
There are a few loose threads to pick up (with a project of this size, I expect they'll keep popping up at unexpected moments) but my big concern was migrating iTunes data, especially the 100+ playlists. The good news is that initially things seemed to have moved over with a minimum of fuss. The bad news is that at least three projects, including two that I'm working on this weekend for Windrose, need some reconstructive surgery.
But now all I have to do is put the desktop back on my desk so we can have the dining table back. ...And get showered so I'm less schlumpy when Ebonlock arrives.
