Anonymous gifts are lovely. They are, in fact, almost as lovely as gifts with an identified donor who you can hug and say 'thank you' to.

Does anybody know off hand of a site which reports *local* economic climate? I get national reports all over (with my email even, sometimes) but very little information on local conditions.

Yesterday I allowed myself a treat, and I went to Rasputin's and got a copy of Empire Records, something that I've been meaning to do for a while. It was fifty cents cheaper than from Amazon, and I got to touch it right away. (Holy Crap. Speaking of Amazon, the soundtrack is five bucks.)
