Coyote Double Feature
Aug. 14th, 2010 10:47 pmBig cinema day for us! John wanted to see "Sorceror's Apprentice" since we had free passes. I said I wanted to stay and see "Scott Pilgrim" and they both decided that they could tolerate that.
No Spoilerz Review!
Sorceror's Apprentice:
Sometimes it's fun to see Nick Cage play Nick Cage. This one had its moments, and I liked the way they handled the ending. (In fact, I thought to myself "I hope they.... okay, good. They are.")
The kid reminds me of Christian Slater without the personality, and it's because of him that I know Amanda needs to see "Pump Up the Volume".
Coyote says three wags--Seeing it for free is recommended.
Scott Pilgrim vs. The World:
This is the most adorable movie I've seen in quite some time. It's frenetic, stream of consciousness storytelling, and Michael Cera is less annoying than usual. (I hear he gets some self-respect in this one.) Almost all of the characters are endearing, and Ramona reminds me of Angie-kun.
Coyote says four and a half wags--it's heart warming.
