Leliana's Song was worth the $5. It was pretty predictible, even if I hadn't heard the framework already from my girlfriend in camp, but it was crunchy and fun to drive to the inevitable conclusion. I also liked the bloody splash screen to introduce each of the main characters, like a cross between Tarantino and Burn Notice. And everybody excusing their absolutely awful behaviour by shrugging and saying "Enh, it's the Game, non?" And I like getting to hear my character ask the questions as well as the NPC's response.
Also started wading around Denerim. The one time somebody takes offence to me opening a door and walking in, it's the snooty manservant of Brother Genitivi who is the guy that's supposed to be my information dump for a new quest. And of course I don't get the option to say "Oh Hey! Fra Genitivi! I'm lookin' for that guy!" My option is "Who's Brother Gentivi?" So I get to be rude *and* ignorant. Hrmph.
However, right now I'm feeling vaguely dissatisfied with everything so I think I'll go to bed and read.
