Ada Lovelace, two-fisted detective
Nov. 7th, 2010 01:08 amThis one was 'League of Extra-Ordinary Gentlemen'. And while I didn't entirely understand the plot, my *character* did because she is a Giant Frickin' Brain Yo. She was a great deal of fun, and I have no idea why she sounded like Kate Hepburn but it apparently worked because I wasn't the only one who loved her. I was sad that her ward, Charles Babbage, missed out on much of the game, but there were seven players and everybody has to make sacrifices.
Sadly, I did not get to play the Indian boy whore because my Firefly GM was making sure that her boy got into surgery okay. (He's come out the other side, and reports say he's doing well.) She's also my GM tomorrow morning (Marty McFly!), and so that gives me one more reason to hope for his speedy recovery. (:
Also, today I met Felicity Shoulders, whose parents may be dorky but at least they didn't abandon her in a library.
