Very good day

We stopped off at the chapel/shrine in Sierra Vista that I'd heard about, got to wander the grounds.
Tidied the house for the launch party.
Tiniest of naps before people started arriving.
Lots of socializing, flirting with new people, lovely drinks.
Then there was karaoke with those who survived the party.
And more socializing, plus talking to Dan's sweetie.
Exhausted now. Sleeptime.

Also pretty good

Today was the drive down to Douglas to see the historic Gadsden Hotel with its fabulous turn of the century architecture and decor. Also, Rose got to see pretty cars, and we found a very pleasing tacqueria down by the Circle K.

Things could have ended better, however, than my eyeglass screw giving way again and my luck finally running out, delivering me with a chipped lens.
