An Open Letter to the Good Neighbours

There are things which I feel attached to, which I consider 'mine', which are nowhere to be seen. These things include:

• My nice slipcovered copy of Cyrano de Bergerac
  
• The second "Hunger Games" paperback
  
• The second "Garden of Iden" novel
  
• My brownglass bottle of Coyote from Black Phoenix
  
• My DVD of "Jeffrey"
  

I have left an oatmeal cake with honey and the memory of a lazy summer day on the flagstones near the garage. No questions will be asked, no recriminations filed. However, if this is to become a regular occurrence, perhaps some negotiation is in order.

I've discovered this terrifically fun new game. It's called "Team Fortress Two". What happens is, you sit round the computer with your friends, and you wander the playing field trying to figure out where the battle is, whereupon you promptly get set on fire. The object of the game is to die as quickly as possible. All the chaps say I'm terrific at it.
