Hurrah the first day of spring--I can stop carrying my jacket around, and just in time because this morning is uncomfortably warm in places. The long nights have finally caught up with the short days, briefly meeting before being drawn off on their separate arcs.
This weekend I had "I'm Too Sexy" stuck in my head, a wayward earworm who proved to be a bit more tenacious than expected. But this was no ordinary RSF visitation. This one featured Sean Connery on vocals. He likes to put the 'g' on '-ing' gerunds, and he prefers the more formal 'yes' to the casual rocker's 'yeah'.
Alas, I thought that if I gave this passing fancy its head, it would wear itself out. Unfortunately, Mister Connery has taken to the stage with more familiarity than Bill Shatner, and now every song I hear now has that familiar burr to it. I think... this may be about the most I can take.
