Coyote Cinema: Lockout
Jul. 1st, 2012 12:19 amSo early this year there was a trailer for a movie about a prison. In space. Taken over by prisoners, so that one daring soul has to break in and save an important hostage.
And in that sixty seconds they managed to cram every single cliche about space movies, prison movies, and caper flicks. And it was physically painful to watch. I informed John that I would not, under any circumstance, be dragged to see it.
So tonight he brought it to me in the office while I was working on characters for ACC. (Sorry, Kit. I didn't get a lot done tonight.)
And it was not half as awful as I'd expected. In fact, I enjoyed half paying attention to it. Especially having not paid anything for the privilege.
