One may transcend any convention, if only one can first conceive of doing so.

I haven't the cycles for an actual review, but I wanted to tell you all that I think Cloud Atlas is an impressive film. It's Tykwer and the Wachowoskis, it's ambitious, it's not easy to watch, it's rewarding, and it had a pretty solid emotional impact.

Even if I'm not certain yet what that emotion is.
