Portland, Seattle and Jobs (Not That Jobs)

Hey, all my flannel wearing coffee drinking quirky associates in the SEA/PDX corridor! (Oh hell, let's cast the net as far as SFO, just in case.)
West Coast peeps! (Many of whom I likely saw last weekend. Yay!) I have a friend who works in IT. He knows his stuff. He's inventive, and willing to work outside that very famous box in order to solve a problem. His work ethic is admirable. And due to some bureaucracy and politics, I've decided that his current employer doesn't deserve him any more.
However, I don't have anywhere to send him..... YET. That would be where y'all come in. If you, or somebody you know, could use a smart efficient IT guy (it probably won't come into play in the workplace, but he's a great cook and photographer and is a mean hand with a guitar, so you would totally want to hang out with him after work) then I would love to put the two of you in touch with each other.
Won't you help me effect my vengeance?
