Have I got everything? Am I ready to go?

Because I haven't really been paying attention, I have let this post slip much longer than I ought. Because people should have lots of notice that I'M COMING TO CALIFORNIA YAY. Not for terribly long, admittedly, but still long enough to have Jamba and probably go to the aquarium.

I'll be arriving on the evening of Friday the 23rd, and flying solo until Amanda can join me on the 29th. We leave for Ashland... um. Shortly thereafter. I don't remember exacts. So I expect that there will be breakfast at Baji's on the 25th, being a Sunday morning and a lovely day for it. Other engagements by special arrangement.

I have done it!

I have finally found a term I can use to describe that thing the kids these days dig with top hats and goggles and gears. "Vernian Fantasia" was a little clunky and awkward. You know what isn't?

SteamPulp. It describes the fantastic nature of the inventions and the larger than life adventures, it encompasses the heroic and dashing deeds of its heroes. SteamPulp. It's awesome.
