Okay, I went to karaoke after work and then watched far too much of Bad Education. I admit it. That's all on me.
But when I got home at four-thirty this morning I was really hoping to get at least four hours of sleep before the construction that's industriously going on kitty corner to our property began its noisy morning that has assured, for the past few months, that I don't accidentally sleep in. *deep breath.*
No such fucking luck. Hey Miss Friday, remember those orange x's on the trees we commented on? Yeah, they started their chainsaws and giant mulcher at seven-thirty and are currently in the process of turning the huge shade trees that used to live outside my window (right outside) into so much mulch and sawdust.
I fucking like my sleep. I fucking like those TREES! Especially now, as the temperatures start to ramp up into summer. Houston? Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, Over.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. It's the only reason I know of to spray paint a tree trunk. Doesn't keep it from sucking though, as it didn't appear they were doing any damage by being there.
