Flying away on a wing and a prayer
Jul. 26th, 2005 11:39 amSo I got an automated phone call from United saying that my itinerary had changed and I should call this 800 number at my earliest convenience. Which was disturbing since I'm not on a United flight, and the record number didn't match the one I arranged for Rachel, who is flying to a funeral today.
The 800 number took me to the general automated United menu, which I navigated (as is my wont) by repeatedly pressing '0' since none of the options given were 'If you got a call from United saying please call at your earliest convenience'.
And then I sat on hold. And sat on hold. It's been half an hour... longer than that, and the batteries on the phone are beeping. Sometimes I'm not the biggest fan of this airline.
UPDATE: Turns out it's for Tersa's flight in September, so there's no immediate rush, which is good because the batteries crapped out and so I'm going to get the information when I get to work.
