Yesterday's cornfield poll went over like Wayne Newton at Lollapalooza, sparking only a conversation about Bill Mumy. Which, I hasten to add, was entertaining as well.
So let's try a different tack.
You find yourself, through a quirk of fate, President of the United States and Commander in Chief of the armed forces. Perhaps by birthright. Perhaps because everyone above you in succession is in legal custody. Public Law 107-40 is stil in effect, so you control the legislative branch of the government as well.
What single law would be the first or most important for you to see passed during your tenure? Anonymous posting is still in effect, but I reserve the right to mock replies with my vast arsenal of sardonic wit.

There would be a law passed to break the monopoly that the two party system has on controling the government.
