cyrano: (whatever)

Trader Joe's has Indian food in a pouch--no refrigeration required, which makes it really handy for lunch--and this weekend they had a whole new selection available. I bought two of the punjab eggplant (tried to give one to Katchoo for Tnalpgge but she spurned it). Had one for dinner yesterday. Very good, as most of the other titles are.
So there was one of those infomercial things on television, and they had a call-in session. Like some random person said "I hear they're filming an infomercial for Double Duty Cleanser. And I have some pertinent, searching questions about that product. I think I'll give them a call." How stupid do they think we are? And how stupid are we?
Dear Colin Powell: Thanks for nothing. And no, I haven't regained any of the respect I used to have for you.
Every single day for the past month at work has been miserable, as it usually is when it rains. Every single day I wonder how quickly I could find another job that pays what I make here. This week, Dani is on holiday and today Raymond is sick. Which means we're at 60% strength.
I'm amped on caffeine because I'm on another 12 hour day. Which means I'm having trouble focusing and I'm a snarky bitch.

One of my flisters just posted saying she lit a candle to Saint Cajetan. He's the patron saint of job seekers. Maybe Cajetan might give you a heads up if you ever need one?

For now - *sympathy pats*.
