Fifty Thou a year will buy a lot of beer
Oct. 11th, 2001 10:46 pmJust finished my first day at Debbi Lynn's. She wants me to work 9-5 M-F and quite possibly extra hours through the month. Lots of wacky folks of good temperment, and lots to learn. Throw him in and see how he swims. Today my cheque for the Sunday art show came in too. Things more or less stay busy, which is good because it keeps me from getting bored.
The CD part of my stereo appears to have broken between Wednesday morning and this morning because when the alarm clicked on, the CD wouldn't play. Nor could I eject any CDs or get any of them to play. No idea what's wrong yet. And my birth certificate (for I9 stuff) wasn't where I thought I left it, but I did find it before I went off to miss my connecting bus and showed up 20 minutes late. And this, Megs reminds me, is why I need to get a license.
I didn't kill her because she just found me a job.
Plus it's her birthday today. Happy MegsDay! And there will be lambs and tea tomorrow. Yum.
